Carrospaña is a family-owned company founded in 1989 by Manuel González, later joined by his children. It manufactures and repairs metal containers, truck bodies, vans, and hydraulic systems and has been in business for more than 35 years. Its main customers are in recycling, transportation, and construction.

Products

The company makes a broad range of containers to order based on each customer’s needs. Models it describes include:

• Open-top containers, including low-profile and aggregate containers, scrap containers, stackable models, and containers with roof doors
• Containers with sliding tarp roofs
• Enclosed and watertight containers
• Specialty containers and container bodies
• Platform containers and containers for chain-lift systems
• Dump boxes, cages, and auxiliary equipment

Carrospaña also modifies and repairs truck bodies, vans, and hydraulic equipment, including self-compactors, hook-lift systems, cranes, and liftgates.

Materials and manufacturing

The company works with high-yield-strength steel, from ST-275 JR through 450 Brinell wear-resistant steel. It says it manufactures its own components to oversee each stage of production. Its products comply with applicable European standards and are delivered with technical documentation. The company offers a minimum two-year warranty on components and welds.
