Elesa Lubricantes is the trade name of Electrofilm Española, S.A., founded in February 1965 by Teodoro Carvajal Gallego. The company manufactures and sells industrial lubricants, including greases, oils, pastes, aerosols, cutting fluids, degreasers, corrosion inhibitors, and additives. Its current catalog has more than 1,800 products.
With more than 60 years of industry experience, the company serves customers, distributors, and partners in over 20 countries across Europe, the Americas, Africa, and Asia. Its manufacturing facilities are in Arganda del Rey, Madrid, serving both the Spanish market and export customers.

Company history
The company began in 1965 as an importer of U.S. lubricants, including Lubri-Bond and Everlube. In 1985, Electrofilm Inc. in the United States transferred manufacturing technology to the company, allowing it to move from importing to local production. In 1993, it introduced non-toxic lubricants for clean industries; in 2008, it developed biodegradable products with Abengoa; and in 2021, it began its digital transformation.
