About IBES S.L.

Specialized concrete pumping

IBES S.L. was established in 2003 and pumps concrete using stationary equipment and steel pipeline systems. Its service is designed for construction sites where conventional truck-mounted boom pumps are not viable because of terrain, height, or location. The company works on projects reached by land and by sea.

IBES describes itself as a specialist in particularly challenging concrete-pumping jobs, a niche in which it works for major construction companies.

Experience and selected projects

Past clients include Spanish construction companies Dragados, Acciona, FCC, Ferrovial, OHL, and Sacyr, as well as international firms Vinci, Razel-Bec, and MSF Engenharia. Projects cited on the company's website include the Torre Agbar in Barcelona; two towers in Madrid's Arturo Soria neighborhood for Ferrovial-Agromán and Dragados; 150- and 240-meter towers in Benidorm and Madrid; the Torres Fira in Barcelona; Torre Gestesa; and the 120-meter Torre BBVA in Madrid with Acciona.

The company also says that, when its website was written, it was pumping concrete for the ITER Cadarache project in France, described there as the world's first nuclear fusion power plant, and for a new hydroelectric plant Iberdrola was building in northern Portugal.

Equipment

IBES says it works with Putzmeister equipment, including BSA1408E, BSA1409D, BSA2108HPE, BSA2109HD, and BSA2110HPD stationary pumps, as well as MX_28T and MX_32T distribution booms.
