The company was founded in 1961 by the De la Torre family, with its first bakery in Madrid’s Vallecas neighborhood. In 1963, it moved to a 600-square-meter facility in Arganda del Rey. In 1990, it launched Conchas Codan, and in 2008 introduced its first Codan Te Cuida product, Supremas with no added sugar. It received IFS quality certification in 2009 and launched its first product without preservatives or artificial colors in 2014.
