Interiorismo Regenerativo - Amparo Grimaldo

About Amparo Grimaldo

Amparo Grimaldo is an interior designer and furniture restorer based in the Matarranya region of Teruel. She leads Interiorismo Regenerativo, a studio whose regenerative approach considers residents' physical and emotional well-being and sustainability in rural settings.

The studio presents its work as an alternative to conventional decorating and develops projects for the people who use each space.

Services

• Interior design for homes, commercial spaces, hospitality businesses and event settings, from small projects to larger commissions, working with local tradespeople
• Bio-interior design, an approach to healthy and balanced spaces that Grimaldo says she has practiced for more than 15 years
• 3D project views
• Feng Shui
• Construction oversight and project coordination, including work with tradespeople and materials suppliers
• Furniture restoration and refinishing, with varnish, wax, sealing oil, wood stain, enamel and chalk-paint finishes
• Restoration workshops at her studio, with morning and afternoon sessions, ongoing instruction and themed classes

How the studio works

The studio uses a method it calls VITAE, starting with an analysis of the surroundings and the client's needs and continuing through choices about materials, forms and atmosphere. Grimaldo says she avoids one-size-fits-all formulas and involves clients in selecting colors, textures and materials.
