Salvador Domènech i Padrosa founded the company in Amer in 1903 as a wood, firewood, and charcoal business. In 1939, his son Antoni Domènech Buxó took over and shifted the business toward packaging, first making wooden beverage crates and later a wide range of pallets. In 1990, the company moved to an industrial park and began recovering used pallets and shredding wood for biomass. It expanded its facilities in 2014 and modernized production in 2021.
