Industrial Metrology and Measurement Systems

Trimek designs and manufactures coordinate measuring machines (CMMs) and is headquartered in Altube-Zuia, Álava, Spain. Its work focuses on quality control and in-line inspection for metrology, and includes measurement components such as scanning and digitizing systems and laser measurement systems.

Solutions and Services

Trimek offers measurement software, noncontact measurement for in-line processes, large-volume inspection, and measurement-room solutions. Its services include training in dimensional and geometric tolerancing, introductory optical and 3D digitizing, and periodic machine verification. The company also handles machine anchoring, assembly, and installation and supplies calibration equipment.

Research and Development

The company carries out internal R&D and collaborates with other companies and research centers in Spain and abroad. It participates in CASANDRA, a project under the 2024 Transmissions Initiative funded by CDTI and AEI. The 13-partner project aims to develop an end-to-end digital manufacturing solution for large components, integrating IoT, digital twins, and operator-focused tools. Trimek is part of Innovalia Metrology’s metrology unit.
