Meat Center Ibérica, S.A. was founded in 1991 and is headquartered in Altorricón, Huesca. It manufactures compound animal feed, trades in live cattle, and wholesales beef. The company operates a closed-loop model that spans cattle finishing through final meat sales.

Production Chain

Meat Center Ibérica manages production stages through companies it owns or affiliates within the group. The chain includes finishing cattle on company-owned and partner farms; transporting grain and compound feed; livestock operations and feed manufacturing; transporting live animals to the slaughterhouse; slaughter; meat cutting; slicing and further processing; and oversight of transportation to the final point of sale.

• Mortretrans: transportation for all companies in the group.
• Celevant: sells beef in all its varieties and beef offal through its plant in Torrent, Valencia.

Facilities

Meat Center Ibérica’s central facilities cover more than 20,000 square meters of buildings on a 66,000-square-meter industrial site. They include a feed mill, parking for trucks and vehicles, a fuel pump reserved for company vehicles, and the main offices.
