Sociedad Deportiva de Pesca Pantano de Almansa

A club shaped by the reservoir

The Sociedad Deportiva de Pesca Pantano de Almansa brings local anglers together around sport fishing at the Almansa Reservoir. Its role extends beyond access to the water: the association organizes activities and competitions and gives members a way to take part in a shared fishing community.

Membership and organized fishing

The association’s published 2026 membership information describes a package that includes a federation fishing license, a member card, access credentials for the reservoir’s fishing area, liability insurance, and participation in society events and activities. It also lists the Castilla-La Mancha fishing license as a requirement for joining. The club’s website features competitions and activities, including events for younger anglers, though the calendar changes from year to year.

For someone considering membership, the practical distinction is that the club combines organized sport with local knowledge of a specific reservoir. Check the association’s current requirements and event notices before planning a visit; fishing permissions and regional regulations still apply independently of any club membership.
