Óptica Congost opened in 1993 on Calle Enriqueta Ortega in Alicante's San Blas neighborhood. Since December 2016, it has operated from updated facilities on Calle Cardenal Belluga. The shop reports more than 25 years of experience in optical care.

Vision services

• Eye exams and prescription services, with a focus on progressive, occupational, and anti-fatigue lenses.
• Fitting of soft contact lenses to correct nearsightedness, farsightedness, astigmatism, and presbyopia.
• Multifocal contact lenses for presbyopia.
• Myopia management with contact lenses; the shop is an authorized center for MiSight lenses.
• Specialty prescription eyewear, including safety and sports glasses, curved prescription sunglasses, and prescription swim or dive goggles.
• Help choosing lenses to match a prescription.

Frames, lenses, and accessories

Óptica Congost carries current eyeglass and sunglass collections from brands including Timberland, Swarovski, Guess, Max&Co, Adidas, Victoria's Secret, Lacoste, Nike, Ted Baker, Stepper, and Mr. Wonderful. It works with lens laboratories such as Zeiss, Prats, and Hoya. Accessories include cases, chains and cords, thermometers, compasses, and magnifiers. The shop takes special orders and says it will look for a requested item if it is not in stock.
