Andrés Collado Abogados is a family-run law firm headquartered in Alicante, with a second office in Madrid since 2017. It provides legal advice and courtroom representation to individuals and businesses and has more than 40 years of experience. Founder Mariano Andrés Fuertes opened the firm in 1975 and received the Medal of Merit in the Service of the Spanish Legal Profession.

Practice areas

The firm organizes its work into four main areas:

• Civil law: advice and representation in contractual and noncontractual liability, declaratory and enforcement proceedings, obligations and contracts, probate, property rights, leases, collection claims, and real-estate law.
• Commercial law: corporate transactions such as formation, capital increases and reductions, bylaw amendments, mergers and spin-offs, dissolution, drafting company bylaws and rules for shareholder and board meetings, day-to-day corporate legal work, and family-business planning.
• Tax law: advice and representation in disputes with local, regional, and national tax authorities; tax returns for individuals and entities; tax audits; calculation and payment of taxes, including personal income tax, nonresident income tax, wealth tax, corporate tax, VAT, transfer tax, inheritance and gift tax, and local taxes; tax planning; and advice for nonresidents.
• Family law: civil annulment actions with claims for damages, uncontested and contested separation and divorce, preliminary proceedings, parentage cases, legal-capacity matters, guardianship and conservatorship, domestic partnerships, and marital-property regimes, including dissolution and division of community property.
