Immersive games for events and groups

Start Play is an immersive entertainment company based in Alcantarilla, Murcia, that designs and produces games for events, celebrations, and groups. Its experiences combine storytelling, acting, and special effects, with formats ranging from escape rooms to at-home recreations of a TV game show.

Game formats

• Escape room: An experience combining action, role-playing, games, special effects, and detailed scenery. One featured setup is “Atraco al Compadre.”
• Live Clue game: A mystery game for lunches or dinners in which participants play characters and try to identify the culprit.
• Start TV Show Game: An at-home game show with challenges, mini-games, music rounds, and live lighting and sound.
• Start Escape Box: A portable escape room in a themed box, designed to be played at the location chosen by the customer.
• Event gamification: Custom games and challenges that make event guests part of the action.

Team and beginnings

The project began about five years ago with Ginés and Anastasia. Ginés works as a designer and trend researcher, while Anastasia is a professional actor trained at the Higher School of Dramatic Art in Murcia, with additional studies in business and marketing. The team has since grown to include actors, game masters, designers, and other specialists. The company says it has received awards and recognition for its work but does not name them.
