Grupo Cuñado is a Spanish business group that began operating in 1963. It supplies pipes, valves, fittings, and miscellaneous industrial products through 21 companies, with commercial operations on five continents and in more than 30 countries. The group lists active subsidiaries in 16 countries, including Germany, Bolivia, Canada, Chile, China, Colombia, the United Arab Emirates, France, the United States, Mexico, Poland, Peru, the Czech Republic, and Turkey.

Products and capabilities

The group offers more than 58,000 products through its 21 companies. Its main product lines include:

• High-specification pipes and fittings for oil and gas, mining, aerospace, nuclear power, food, and other industries
• Valves for industries with demanding pressure, temperature, and quality requirements, as well as filters and instrumentation equipment
• Cables and integrated wiring and electrical-component solutions for complex industrial projects
• Value-added services, mainly logistics, including its Integrated Supply System

Industries served

Customers include chemical and petrochemical plants, refineries, thermal and nuclear power plants, combined-cycle and renewable generation facilities, metallurgical and steel companies, paper mills, food producers, shipyards, water-treatment plants, and gas-processing facilities.

Infrastructure and reach

Headquarters are in Alcalá de Henares, Madrid, Spain. The group reports more than 265,000 square meters of covered space across 23 warehouses and offices that serve as operating and logistics centers. It also has warehouses and offices throughout Spain and serves international customers through its subsidiaries.

Quality and certifications

Grupo Cuñado’s quality division evaluates and approves suppliers, monitors manufacturing processes, oversees receipt and storage of materials, verifies certificates and tests, and controls deliveries to customers. The group lists ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and UNE 73401:1995 certifications.
