About ZINCAMAN - Asociación Regional de Zonas Industriales de Castilla-La Mancha

Regional association for industrial areas

ZINCAMAN, the Regional Association of Industrial Areas of Castilla-La Mancha, is a nonprofit organization representing entities and stakeholders involved in creating, maintaining, activating, and managing industrial areas across the region. It was formed after the First Castilla-La Mancha Industrial Areas Congress, held in Albacete on November 8 and 9, 2017, to advocate for these productive sites and improve their management.

Activities and services

ZINCAMAN works with city governments and public agencies responsible for industrial parks to coordinate improvements for the businesses located there. Its activities include:

  • Promoting projects to improve industrial-area management.
  • Organizing courses and training events for business owners and workers.
  • Working with companies on safety and environmental quality.
  • Encouraging new technologies in the region's industrial areas.
  • Surveying and classifying industrial centers in Castilla-La Mancha.
  • Advocating for a regional law governing industrial areas.
  • Representing the interests of the region's industrial areas.

Selected programs

ZINCAMAN develops programs focused on improving industrial areas and supporting youth employment. TándEM, the Industrial Area Maintenance Assistants program, is funded by Spain's State Public Employment Service (SEPE) and co-funded by the European Social Fund Plus (ESF+); it provides training and employment for people under 30. The Polígonos en Red project, presented with the Albacete Provincial Council, connects industry and local communities in the province. The Cuenca–Teruel Generational Transition Project seeks entrepreneurs to continue rural businesses through training pathways.
