Ecotur is a travel agency specializing in ecological tourism, rural travel, and agritourism in Spain, Portugal, and Colombia. Its offerings include accommodations, activities, and sustainable food experiences. It operates under the Ceres Ecotur certification system, which assesses environmental and sociocultural standards.

Ecotur covers destinations throughout Spain, including Andalusia, Aragon, Asturias, the Balearic Islands, the Canary Islands, Cantabria, Castile–La Mancha, Castile and León, Catalonia, the Valencian Community, the Basque Country, Extremadura, Galicia, La Rioja, Madrid, Murcia, and Navarre. It also covers Alentejo, the Algarve, northern Portugal, and the Lisbon region; Antioquia, Caldas, Cundinamarca, Quindío, Santander, and Sucre in Colombia; France; and other international destinations.

Initiatives and events

The company organizes the Festival de la Tierra and the Ecotourism Festival. The seventh Ecotourism Festival was held May 9–31, 2026, in Fuentes del Narcea, Cangas del Narcea, Degaña, and Ibias in Asturias, marking the 25th anniversary of Muniellos as a Biosphere Reserve. Previous ecoagritourism events took place in Argüeru on September 27–29, 2024, and Aínsa on October 1–2, 2023.

Memberships and partnerships

Fundación Ecoagroturismo, which is associated with Ecotur, is a member of the Global Sustainable Tourism Council (GSTC). It partners with Accueil Paysan, a France-based agritourism federation active in 24 countries, and maintains agreements with VAOLO and FAIRBNB.COOP.
