About Premios +50 Emprende

The +50 Emprende Awards are an entrepreneurship competition aimed at people over 50 years of age in Spain. They are jointly promoted by Generación SAVIA, project of the Endesa Foundation in collaboration with the Fundación máshumano, and by the audiovisual producer 02:59 Films. The contest is presented as the largest competition of its kind in Spain for entrepreneurs over 50.

Awards and endowment

The seventh edition offered up to €33,000 in prizes and €20,000 in advice. The breakdown includes a first prize of €10,000, a second prize of €5,000 and a third prize of €1,500. The program also included a €15,000 Green Entrepreneurship Prize, which recognizes initiatives related to the energy transition and the circular economy that contribute to reducing emissions and combating climate change.

How to enter

Entrants were required to present their business project through a video of up to three minutes, submitted through the form on the official website. Registration for the seventh edition closed on 16 January 2026. To resolve doubts during the application period, the organisers answered enquiries by WhatsApp or phone on 678 840 459.

Organizers

Generación SAVIA is a non-profit platform and community aimed at improving the employability of professionals over the age of 50 and strengthening recognition of their professional value. According to figures published on its website, it brings together more than 45,000 senior professionals and 800 registered companies, with 200 collaborating entities. 02:59 Films (DOS CINCUENTA Y NUEVE S.L.) is an audiovisual producer founded in 2010, initially specializing in viral online videos —with a cumulative 200 million views— and dedicated since 2018 also to the development of film projects, such as the feature film "Abuelos" (2019).

Jury and direction

The competition names a jury composed of professionals in the business, academic and communication fields, including Leopoldo Abadía, Elsa Novo de Miguel, Carlos Sanz, Beatriz Sánchez, Alejandro Vesga, Reyes Escolano, Ana Fernández, Carlos Molina, Karla Alarcón, María Montis, Adrián Martínez, Lola Ferrer, Bárbara Rey and Yolanda Gutiérrez. The award is directed by Fernando Lallana, an entrepreneurship consultant and mentor who teaches at several business schools and has written about entrepreneurship among people over 50.
