Company History

The company began as a factory for plastic accessories established by founder José Ferro Rodeiro in the 1950s in Muras, Lugo, using power from a hydroelectric plant. In the 1960s, the facility began making PVC pipes and fittings for water supply and drainage, becoming one of Spain’s early manufacturers in the field. After the founder’s death in 1981, his heirs incorporated Plásticos Ferro, S.L. In 2004, the company joined Grupo P. Ferro GPF, S.L. (Grupo GPF), which describes itself as a leader in the manufacture and sale of plastic pipes and fittings on the Iberian Peninsula.
