Saudi eVisa is the official portal of the Government of Saudi Arabia for applying for the electronic tourist visa. The platform allows international visitors to process the visa entirely online, without the need to go to an embassy or consulate, and is available in several languages, including English, Arabic, Simplified Chinese, French, German, Russian, Spanish and Turkish.

What the eVisa is and what it allows

The electronic tourist visa is a one-year, multiple-entry authorisation that allows you to stay in the country for up to 90 days. It is intended for tourism-related activities such as attending events, visiting family and relatives, leisure, and performing Umrah, with the express exclusion of Hajj. Other activities, such as studying, are outside its coverage.

Eligible countries

The portal accepts applications from citizens of 68 countries. The list of eligible countries is organised by region:

• North America: Bahamas, Barbados, Canada, Grenada, Panama, Saint Kitts and Nevis and United States.
• South America: Guyana.
• Europe: Albania, Andorra, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Georgia, Germany, Greece, Netherlands, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Kosovo, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Monaco, Montenegro, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, San Marino, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Ukraine and United Kingdom.
• Asia: Azerbaijan, Brunei, China (including Hong Kong and Macau), Japan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Malaysia, Maldives, Singapore, South Korea, Tajikistan, Thailand, Turkey and Uzbekistan.
• Africa: Mauritius, Seychelles and South Africa.
• Oceania: Australia and New Zealand.

Applicants whose nationality is not on the list should contact the nearest Saudi Arabia Embassy.

Processing in three steps

The application process is divided into three stages: fill in the application, pay the visa fee and get your online visa. The platform is designed to make the process fast and simple, and the portal has a sign-in area for users.
