A guide to chiropractors in White Plains, from Court Street to North Broadway

Three practices differ in services, schedules and the professionals a visitor may see.

The choices for chiropractic care in White Plains are not interchangeable. On Court Street, a practice centers on Stephen Kobrin; on Church Street, a multidisciplinary team combines chiropractic with other services; farther north, Ernie Lombardi describes work with athletes as well as people managing pain in everyday life. Here is what distinguishes the three offices and how to find the one that fits the visit you have in mind.

Chiro Care: a Court Street practice

Stephen Kobrin's office is at 99 Court Street, suite 2E. Kobrin studied at Palmer College of Chiropractic West and lists care for back and neck complaints, accident injuries and a mobile service. The office opens in the afternoon Monday through Wednesday and Friday morning. Some older directories still list a Mamaroneck Avenue address; the practice itself currently directs visitors to Court Street.

The office website also makes claims about chiropractic and coronavirus. An adjustment should not be treated as protection against infection or a replacement for established medical care. The practice's testimonials do not display clear dates, so we have not presented them as recent patient experience.

R3: more than one type of care

Repair Recover Restore is at 95 Church Street, suite 200. Chiropractor Stephen Handler and chiropractor and acupuncturist Krystal Campbell are among a team that lists physical therapy, massage and acupuncture alongside chiropractic care. The center offers an introductory discussion and lists some accepted insurance plans; the actual cost depends on the service and policy.

A recent patient praised feeling heard by Handler and Campbell, while another described disappointment after one visit. The overall comments include experiences with different professionals and therapies. The White Plains office has Saturday hours and an accessible entrance; a separate Port Chester office is listed in the full profile.

North Broadway: rehabilitation and sport

At 811 North Broadway, suite 205, Ernie Lombardi describes chiropractic care, soft-tissue approaches and rehabilitation for everyone from local athletes to people whose symptoms affect daily activities. His practice lists free parking and appointments on Saturday morning. The patient accounts readily visible during our review are several years old.

All three practices discuss treatments that serve different purposes. Before agreeing to an intervention or a series of visits, ask what the examination found, what the proposed treatment is intended to do and how costs will be handled. A severe injury or new neurological symptoms may require prompt medical evaluation.

Bottom line

Compare the professional, services and schedule that suit your needs.
