The campus faculty representative must register a student by March 3, 2027; the completed application is due March 4 at 11:59 p.m. Mountain Time. The process includes a campus selection: students do not get direct access until their representative registers them and participates in the institutional nomination. Prepare academic records, recommendations, and concrete examples of service or research aligned with the selected field. Before drafting the essay, determine who must validate the nomination and what special documents apply to Tribal policy or health-care pathways. The foundation describes the award as highly competitive; the projected number is not an individual guarantee.
