The Riverside Community College District Foundation advertises more than 250 scholarships for its students, with one application for consideration. For 2027–28, the platform opens October 19, 2026, and closes January 17, 2027; awards apply to fall 2027 and spring 2028. The district includes Riverside City, Moreno Valley, and Norco colleges.
Riverside City College says applicants may apply once admitted and issued a student email; the portfolio includes non-athletes, part-time students, adults, varied GPAs, and different income levels. Transfer pathways are also represented, though each award and destination school must be checked. Selection follows donor criteria rather than one universal GPA or income rule.
Students complete the scholarship application system, review recommended opportunities, and submit each supplemental section or requirement assigned by the portal. The general form alone does not ensure every scholarship has been applied for. Committees include district personnel, faculty, and community members. Offers are sent to student email, and recipients must accept through the system to receive payment instructions.
Review begins in March, finalists are selected in April, and offer notices are sent in May. In August, awards are added to the financial-aid package and processed before fall disbursement. Check RCCD email and the portal after applying, keep confirmations, and verify enrollment. If you also receive FAFSA, Cal Grant, or other aid, ask how funds coordinate and what changes must be reported.
Confirm the academic year, local deadline and time, who must submit each document, and whether supplemental questions remain. Keep confirmations and recheck the portal after submitting. Ask the school’s financial-aid office how FAFSA, outside awards, and payments coordinate.
Read the aid-program profile and the FAFSA guide; confirm with the institution how funding is coordinated.
