Pull Up Fund created the Prince George’s County Youth AI Mastery Scholarship for high-school students starting college-level study in artificial intelligence or machine learning. The listed award is $2,500 for qualified education expenses—tuition, fees, books, and required equipment—not every living cost. Eligibility is limited to seniors at Prince George’s County public high schools and an eligible UMGC course; it is not a statewide Maryland scholarship.
The current application is open through October 15, 2026, at 3 p.m. Central Time. Applicants must be juniors or seniors at a Prince George’s County public high school planning to continue in an AI or machine-learning online program at the University of Maryland Global Campus. Financial need is not considered; selection reviews academics, leadership, activities, work, goals, and a custom essay.
The application requires a complete transcript and proof of application or admission to the eligible course; a partial grade report is not enough. The portal may request SAT or ACT scores separately if they are not listed on the transcript. Applicants are expected to be notified in December, with payment in January. Because the deadline is close, students should use a personal email account they can keep after graduation and verify every document upload before submitting.
Before applying, confirm the correct cohort, time zone, documents your school must submit, and whether funds are applied to tuition or other costs. Your institution’s financial-aid office can explain how the award interacts with FAFSA and outside scholarships.
Read the aid-program profile and the FAFSA guide; your institution’s financial-aid office can verify your individual case.
