The Chicago Chapter of ISACA offers six $2,000 scholarships in 2026–27 for students preparing for careers in digital trust and technology governance. Two awards are available at each level: associate, bachelor’s, and master’s. The opportunity combines financial support with student membership, certification resources, career development, and mentoring; it is not a nationwide award without geographic requirements.
Applicants must be at least 18, live in Illinois, and pursue an associate, bachelor’s, or master’s degree at an Illinois school in IT audit, risk, security, assurance, or cybersecurity. Minimum GPAs are 3.00 for undergraduates and 3.25 for graduate students. People who received the award in the previous 12 months are not eligible to apply again.
The deadline was extended to November 3, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. U.S. Central Time. Applicants use a free ISACA account and submit GPA proof plus a recommendation from an educator or professional familiar with their work. Existing ISACA Foundation applicants may sign in with their account; keep the submission confirmation.
Recipients agree to help establish or manage their school’s ISACA Student Group for at least two semesters, take part in networking opportunities, and report to the Foundation twice a year for two years. They may also receive a career bundle with student membership, certification resources, and mentoring. The portal has an inconsistent disbursement month for this cycle; confirm payment timing and routing with the chapter.
Confirm the academic year, local deadline and time, who must submit each document, and whether supplemental questions remain. Keep confirmations and recheck the portal after submitting. Ask the school’s financial-aid office how FAFSA, outside awards, and payments coordinate.
Read the aid-program profile and the FAFSA guide; confirm with the institution how funding is coordinated.
