Hawaiʻi Pacific University is offering a pilot admission-and-aid pathway for fall 2027 aimed at students completing their final year at an accredited Hawaiʻi high school. Meeting the published criteria brings guaranteed admission to a bachelor’s program and an annual tuition scholarship of at least $15,000. It does not promise to cover housing, meals, transportation, or every university charge.

Requirements include graduating in 2027, submitting a complete admission application by January 15, 2027, maintaining at least a 2.75 cumulative GPA through the end of junior year, and completing four years of English plus three years each of social studies, natural science, and mathematics. HPU also requires a clean disciplinary record; residency alone is not enough.

HPU also lists a $3,000 grant for students who file the FAFSA by January 15 and a $500 visit grant for attending a campus tour or Shark Day before paying the enrollment deposit. Early Action or Early Decision applications are due November 15 for an earlier admission decision and award. The final package may vary with merit and financial need and should be confirmed in each student’s award letter.

The annual scholarship is divided between fall and spring and may renew for up to eight consecutive semesters while the recipient remains a full-time student at HPU’s main campus and meets the terms. Before comparing the $15,000 minimum with other offers, review HPU’s full cost of attendance, FAFSA results, and grants that do not need to be repaid. The university says the pilot applies to the 2027 cohort and does not guarantee continuation for future classes.

Before submitting, confirm whether the deadline is national, state, school, or campus-based, who must send each document, and the time zone. Keep receipts and check application status. Ask the financial-aid office how the award combines with FAFSA, other scholarships, and the full cost of attendance.

Read the aid-program profile and the FAFSA guide; confirm how funding is coordinated.
