Midtown or Northside: a practical chiropractic guide to Columbus, Georgia

A two-office network, a northside independent clinic and a family practice publish very different first-visit and Saturday rules.

Columbus residents do not have to treat “northside” as a single address. Brodwyn and Associates works from Edgewood Road in Midtown and runs a second, differently scheduled office farther up Veterans Parkway. Beres Chiropractic Center sits on Double Churches Road near the northern parkway exit. Live Well Family Chiropractic is on Armour Road, with a much shorter three-day week and a stated emphasis on family and prenatal appointments. Their published facts make a useful route map for a reader who needs an assessment, a named clinician or a Saturday time, without pretending that a star score chooses a treatment.

Two Brodwyn desks, two Saturday rules

The Brodwyn network's Midtown practice is at 3624 Edgewood Road, Suite A, with phone 706-563-3370. Brodwyn Spine Center Northside is at 8132 Veterans Parkway, Suite 415, with a separate number, 706-569-7424. Both post weekday sessions 9 a.m.–noon and 2–6 p.m., but Midtown's Saturday 8:30–11 a.m. is for existing patients only, while Northside lists noon–3 p.m. The network's $150 new-patient offer covers consultation, examination, X-rays if needed and a report of findings; its small print excludes Medicare, workers' compensation and personal-injury cases. This is not a universal injury-visit price. The doctors listed across the network include Jay Brodwyn and Ryan Overton. Overton's biography says he sees patients at both offices only in limited, booked slots. Choosing the doctor therefore matters as much as choosing the building. The same Northside suite also houses Brodwyn Military Chiropractic, a distinct route for active-duty members and dependents with a published $23 adjustment-only rate; a civilian should not assume that military price applies at the spine center.

What the independent northside practice discloses

Michael Beres opened Beres Chiropractic Center in 2011 at 2320 Double Churches Road, Suite B. The current roster adds Charmi Patel as a second chiropractor and lists massage therapists and assistants by name. Its site says it usually can arrange a same-day appointment, accepts many major insurers and offers self-pay and military-family rates, without posting numerical prices for those routes. The practice opens at 8 a.m. Monday through Friday, ends at noon Friday and closes weekends; Tuesday afternoon runs an hour later than most other weekdays. Recent public comments mention Beres and Patel separately, and one describes reception calling back when a cancelled appointment opened. That says something specific about scheduling behavior. It does not show that either doctor's technique is right for every patient. The clinic's many advertised modalities, from exercises and massage to imaging, belong to a care discussion after an exam, not a preset package.

A family-focused office with limited days

Live Well Family Chiropractic identifies Cinthia Vargas at 4355 Armour Road, Unit A. The office markets prenatal, pediatric and general chiropractic visits. It describes a first appointment as consultation, individualized examination and an adjustment if appropriate, but does not publish an initial fee or insurance terms on its main page. The timetable is notably narrow: Monday 1–5 p.m., Wednesday 9 a.m.–3 p.m. and Thursday noon–5 p.m. For a parent needing a specific provider, the focus and named clinician may be attractive; for someone who can only attend Tuesday, Friday or Saturday, the posted hours rule it out. Recent public comments discuss Vargas's manner and individualized attention during pregnancy. Such accounts can describe the encounter, but claims about childbirth or a medical result require more than testimonials.

Columbus therefore offers three different planning problems. The Brodwyn network provides two geographically separate desks and a conditional introductory price. Beres has a broader weekday opening and two identified chiropractors but no published cash tariff. Live Well supplies a named family-oriented clinician with fewer appointment days. The right first question is not which clinic advertises the most techniques; it is which clinician and address will assess the reason for the visit, what that assessment includes and what the patient will owe for it and anything proposed afterward.

Bottom line

The same clinic name can lead to different doors and Saturday conditions. Fix the location and clinician first, then compare the examination and any later charges.
