A $50 first visit, sports care or a longer intake: three Clearwater chiropractic options

The addresses on East Bay Drive, US Highway 19 and Chestnut Street advertise different entry points. Their published terms show what a patient can compare before choosing.

Clearwater's three offices in this guide do not sell the same first appointment. At 4445 East Bay Drive, East Bay Chiropractic advertises an examination, consultation and adjustment for $50. On US Highway 19, Countryside Chiropractic describes an assessment that can extend beyond the spine to other joints and movement, but publishes no comparable first-visit price. At 814 Chestnut Street, Cooper Chiropractic Center walks a prospective patient through forms, a conversation, examination and possible X-rays; its site does not say that every step is required or quote a first-visit fee. Those differences are more useful than placing the three names in a ranking.

The price is specific; the later bill is not

East Bay's $50 offer is unusually explicit about the three elements included. Its contact page also says visits are by appointment and gives an 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. window Monday through Saturday. The home page still says “open 7 days a week,” conflicting with the six-day schedule on the contact page. A reader can use the stated Saturday window, while recognizing that an appointment time rather than a promotional banner determines when the office will see them. The price applies to the advertised new-patient visit; the site does not provide a schedule of later adjustments, acupuncture or other services. Fan Yang is named as the chiropractor, and Jian Xue as the acupuncturist. The two roles should not be folded into a single $50 promise.

At Countryside, Maria Young's and Tom Young's biographies describe sports chiropractic training. The practice's explanation of its method names soft-tissue work and exercises alongside joint manipulation, including areas outside the back. Its posted hours are Monday through Thursday 9:30 a.m.–5:30 p.m. and Friday 11 a.m.–4 p.m.; weekends are closed. That is a different access pattern from East Bay's longer advertised appointment window. The practice's pages do not give a first-visit price or an insurance schedule, so the reader cannot calculate the cost of an evaluation or a course of care from the site alone.

A narrated intake is not a treatment guarantee

Cooper's site illustrates its first-visit procedure through a sample patient: history form, discussion, explanation, testing and, in some cases, imaging. It also advertises nutrition reflex testing, allergy testing, massage and laser services. Listing these together does not establish that each service is necessary for a chiropractic complaint, that a particular method is clinically effective, or that every patient will receive it. The office publishes longer Monday, Wednesday and Friday hours, 10 a.m.–6 p.m. with a lunch closure, and short Tuesday and Thursday sessions ending at 1 p.m. For someone seeking a downtown address and a described intake, those details are concrete; the missing fee remains material.

Recent public comments about East Bay mention that questions and history preceded an adjustment and that an appointment was arranged promptly. A more recent comment about Countryside identifies Maria Young and the hands-on soft-tissue technique; comments about Cooper describe long relationships with the office. These reports help characterize service and continuity, not clinical success. The practical choice is between a clearly priced entry appointment with later charges unknown, an athlete-oriented team with a defined weekday schedule, and a downtown office that explains its intake but also markets additional testing. After trauma or with symptoms that may require medical assessment, a directory comparison cannot decide whether manipulation is appropriate; federal health guidance calls for a thorough assessment of risks and medical conditions.

Bottom line

Choose the published first-visit terms, clinician and hours that match the actual need; obtain a written estimate for services whose prices are not published.
