Three Bloomfield chiropractic practices: compare the people, services and hours

A guide to Broad Street and Broadacres Drive offices, from family care to sports rehabilitation.

In Bloomfield, a search for chiropractic care can lead to a family office on Broad Street or to several practices along Broadacres Drive. Addresses matter: two centers in this guide occupy different buildings on Broadacres and have separate teams. Their schedules vary as well, with Saturday morning at two offices and later weekday appointments at another.

We examined three practices and the information they publish about their professionals. Their detailed profiles include services, contact information and the experiences described by patients. Those accounts can illuminate the welcome and communication at an office, but they cannot establish that another patient will have the same clinical result.

Dellanno: family care on Broad Street

Dellanno Family Chiropractic, at 532 Broad Street, describes nearly 35 years serving the area. Michael Dellanno is among the chiropractors presented by the practice, whose services include chiropractic and non-surgical spinal decompression. Its first-visit description includes a consultation, examination and discussion of findings; imaging is considered when needed rather than being a requirement for everyone.

The office publishes evening appointments Monday and Wednesday until 8 and Friday until 7, as well as Saturday morning. Its building and sign are pictured in the profile. Public comments available for review describe listening and personal attention, although not all carry a reliable recent date.

Scordilis: a team with a sports background

Scordilis Health and Performance Center occupies suite 126 at 300 Broadacres Drive. George and Peter Scordilis are chiropractors; the team also presents chiropractor Dominic Oramas and physical therapist Neal Shah. Peter's biography describes sports and strength-and-conditioning credentials, while the office lists chiropractic, rehabilitation and physical therapy.

A recent visitor described attention to the individual. The center publishes weekday and Saturday hours, although one part of its site gives a different opening time from the footer schedule. Its separate profile identifies the building and provides the phone number for an appointment.

Light Touch: two disciplines at number 400

At 400 Broadacres Drive, suite 150, Light Touch Rehabilitation identifies Lior Farkash as its chiropractor and Boris Katz as its physical therapist. The practice lists therapeutic exercise and soft-tissue methods as well as chiropractic and physical therapy. Recent patient accounts mention time spent listening; one describes receiving both disciplines.

Light Touch lists Tuesday and Thursday appointments until 7:30 p.m., but closes on weekends. A prospective patient can compare the professional, the service requested, the proposed assessment and its cost. A shared street address does not make these offices the same business, and the reviews of one cannot be transferred to another.

Bottom line

Choose the professional and appointment that fit your needs.
