Vila Vita Parc is a five-star resort located in Porches, in the Portuguese Algarve, belonging to the VILA VITA Hotels group and a member of The Leading Hotels of the World. It presents itself as a luxury complex with Moorish-inspired architecture, spread over 22 hectares of lush sub-tropical gardens facing a white sandy beach with direct access and bordered by the dramatic rocky coastline of the Atlantic Ocean.

The resort opened its doors in 1992 and has since evolved to shape its current offering. Its presentation highlights the combination of timeless elegance, an unsurpassed range of services and amenities, and a privileged natural setting, with a focus on Portuguese hospitality and personalized attention.

The complex has 203 rooms, suites and apartments, plus 6 luxury villas. The offering is completed by the Vila Vita Collection, a group of beachfront villas and residences in the Algarve, owned and managed by Vila Vita Parc, comprising 7 exclusive properties in traditional coastal settings.

Restaurants and bars

The dining offering includes 13 restaurants and 7 bars, with options ranging from rustic Portuguese cuisine to informal and fine dining. Among them stands out the Ocean restaurant, the resort's flagship, which holds two Michelin stars. The complex also includes other establishments such as Vila Vita Biergarten and Herdade dos Grous.

Wellness and activities

The wellness area includes the Spa by Sisley Paris and a Health Club. The family offering includes Natalie’s Crèche, Annabella’s Kids Parc, a Teen Club and a children's play area. In terms of sports and leisure, the resort has 6 swimming pools, one of them indoor, 2 floodlit tennis courts, a multi-sports court, pickleball and paddle facilities, volleyball, football, badminton, table tennis, basketball and handball, as well as bicycles. It also has a 9-hole pitch & putt practice course, an 18-hole putting green and an 18-hole minigolf, as well as 3 private yachts and a speedboat.

Meetings, events and additional services

For meetings and events, the resort offers 8 rooms with capacity for up to 350 people. The complex houses 11 shops and has electric vehicle charging points connected to the Mobi.e network, with two 22 kW chargers and one 50 kW charger with two 25 kW outlets. Sustainability is presented as a core focus, with measures for waste reduction, resource conservation, eco-friendly amenities and support for wildlife protection.

Setting and access

The resort is located in Porches, in the middle of the Algarve. Faro International Airport is about 40 minutes by car; Lisbon Airport is two and a half hours by car or 45 minutes by plane; and Seville Airport is two and a half hours by car. Tunes Train Station is 15 minutes by car. The resort can organise transfers from any point in Portugal or southern Spain and works with a preferred car rental company.
