Who are we?

The Peruvian Psychiatric Association is an institution dedicated to promoting, researching, and developing mental health in Peru. Its mission is to promote comprehensive mental health care, encourage continuous education in psychiatry, and collaborate in improving the quality of life of people affected by mental disorders.

What do we do?

• Organization of congresses and conferences in psychiatry.
• Publishing of journals and scientific articles.
• Conducting training workshops and courses.
• Generating press releases and news of interest.
• Collaboration with institutions and professionals for the development of public policies in mental health.

Publications and research

The Association publishes a psychiatric journal and various articles related to mental health. It also promotes research on the impact of the pandemic on the mental health of children, adolescents, and health professionals.
