Helena Bay Lodge is a luxury accommodation located in the Northland region, on the northern coast of New Zealand. The property presents itself as an intimate retreat where relaxation and adventure combine with luxury. It occupies over 800 acres of farmland and native forest, with four private beaches and its own luxury yacht. The property is in a secluded setting, yet within easy travelling distance of Auckland International Airport; the lodge can assist with arranging transfers by road or air.

The lodge offers accommodation in the Main House. Its facilities include a gym, sauna, massage room, 25-metre heated swimming pool, library, lounge areas, formal and informal dining areas, and an outdoor firepit. The dining experience includes an individual buffet breakfast and chef service.

The activities on offer are organised into several areas: on the water, wellbeing and the property itself. On the water, the 14-metre yacht named 'Ruru' allows guests to experience luxury at sea. The property has an extensive network of trails, beaches and farmland. The Northland region, described as 'The Winterless North', offers a temperate climate with summers averaging between 22° and 26°C and mild winters of 14° to 17°C. The surroundings combine coastline, native flora and fauna, modern cuisine and cultural heritage, with numerous archaeological sites and former pā (Māori fortifications) along the coast.

Current status and reopening

Helena Bay Lodge is currently closed and plans to reopen in late 2027.
