Travelex currency exchange and travel card in New Zealand

Travelex New Zealand runs a currency exchange service aimed at travellers, with online ordering and later collection in store or at Christchurch Airport. The company is part of the Travelex group and its activity in the country is carried out through Travelex Financial Services NZ Limited.

The site allows you to buy cash in more than 45 currencies and to buy or top up the Travelex Money Card, a prepaid card that can manage up to nine currencies. Top-ups can be made from the website or through the Travelex Travel Money App, which also lets you move funds between currencies within the wallet.

The network includes stores and ATMs at selected airport locations, and the site lets you find stores by island and check available ATMs, including those that dispense Australian dollars.

Promotions and currency sales

The site's promotions catalogue lists temporary currency sales with specific conditions. Among the currencies that usually take part are EUR, GBP, USD, JPY, AUD, CAD, SGD and HKD.
