EasyUsenet

EasyUsenet, Usenet access provider since 2007

EasyUsenet is a Usenet access service that has been operating since 2007 and presents itself as an XS News brand. The company focuses its offering on fast, hassle-free connections, with efficient structures instead of costly marketing campaigns, according to its own description. Its catalogue is built around two models: subscriptions and prepaid packages.

Unlimited and prepaid plans

The company offers unlimited plans with high-speed access and 100 connections. The annual plan is available at €3.98 per month and the monthly plan at €5.98 per month. The website states that all products reach speeds of up to 2,000 Mbit/s, equivalent to 250 MB per second.

Alongside subscriptions, EasyUsenet offers prepaid packages without a subscription, with durations of one, six or twelve months and two speed tiers:

• 60 Mbit/s with 20 connections: €5.95 per month on a monthly contract, €33.00 for six months (€5.50/month) or €60.00 per year (€5.00/month).
• 500 Mbit/s with 40 connections: €7.95 per month on a monthly contract, €45.00 for six months (€7.50/month) or €84.00 per year (€7.00/month).

The company also offers a three-day trial with unlimited high-speed access for €1.99, which then renews at €5.98 per month.

No data limit and with encryption

None of EasyUsenet's plans set a data limit, so users can use the service without volume restrictions. Regarding privacy, the company states that it uses current encryption technologies such as TLS and SSL, so that every connection is encrypted and data remains private.

Customer support

The service has a support team that responds personally to user queries. The company warns that this team does not provide support during national holidays. Queries can be sent by email through the form available on its website, and the company directs users to its FAQ page for the most common questions.
