Roller blinds for roof windows and skylights

Skylight-blinds.ie is a seller of roller blinds designed for roof windows and skylights, as well as standard windows. The company presents itself as a distributor of simple, practical and innovative solutions, made with quality fabrics and durable components. Its catalogue covers everything from large and small windows to roof windows, and is designed for spaces with cold, draught or blackout needs in bedrooms.

The firm produces precision made-to-measure blinds at its facilities in Ireland and ships them to customers worldwide. It has a wide variety of materials that allows it to manufacture blinds in almost any colour, shape or texture, with different finishing options.

Compatibility with leading roof window brands

The products are designed to fit roof windows from manufacturers such as VELUX®, Fakro, Roto, Rooflite, Dakstra and Keylite. The company also offers the option of fully made-to-measure manufacturing. This is not a universal system: each design is tailored to the specific window manufacturer, which facilitates precise installation.

Quick and easy installation

Installation requires only a screwdriver and about five minutes, thanks to a four-screw mounting system. The company publishes an explanatory video showing the installation process. Ordering is also presented as quick: the product configurator already includes numerous window types, so the customer only has to select their own, choose a colour and place the order.

Catalogue and accessories

The catalogue is organised into blinds for roof windows, accessories and spare parts. Accessories include fabric covers and fabric options, and the company offers fabric samples so that customers can check the colour and texture before buying. It also has a frequently asked questions section and installation guides.

Warranty, manufacturing and availability

All blinds include a three-year warranty as standard. The company states that its products are manufactured in Ireland and that it has numerous sizes in stock. According to its own presentation, its blinds save an average of 50% compared to the cost of an equivalent blind from the original manufacturer. It also states that its designs are 100% recyclable and that its component suppliers are local, which reduces the carbon footprint of each product.

Shipping and customer service

The company ships internationally. For the United Kingdom, it notes that most products are delivered within two days. Customer service is available to answer questions about colours, installation, delivery or any other query. The company states that approximately 90% of questions about products or current orders can be resolved through its direct service guide, which includes videos and explanations.
