Access: seaplane and private yacht

The resort details two arrival routes. From Velana International Airport, in Malé, the island is reached by a 45-minute scenic seaplane flight, either in a customised private Velaa aircraft with capacity for nine passengers or in a commercial fifteen-seat seaplane. Guests are met on arrival by an airport butler and accompanied to a private lounge with refreshment and rest facilities before the transfer. For private jets, Maafaru International Airport, on Noonu Atoll, allows landings with a subsequent seven-minute seaplane journey or a 35-minute luxury yacht transfer to Velaa.
