About Ohayo Japan Travel

Ohayo Japan Travel grew out of Claire’s own travel experience; she shares the project as ByClairexplore. After traveling around Asia for six months, she settled in Tokyo with her husband and turned her interest in travel into a planning service for trips to Japan. It is aimed at people who want to take their own trip but need help organizing destinations, timing, and practical details before they leave.

Custom planning begins with a conversation about interests, pace, budget, and dates. From those priorities, the planner helps arrange stops and decide what to include so the itinerary fits the time available. The goal is to turn scattered ideas and searches into a clear proposal that travelers can follow and adapt.

Planning can include a personalized day-by-day travel book with useful reservation links. The guide brings together the route, transportation, and recommendations to consult during the stay. The website presents it as a single place to keep the trip plan, reducing the need to search for each detail again while traveling.

In Tokyo, Ohayo also offers private guiding, custom visits, and airport pickup. These services are separate from general itinerary planning: travelers can plan remotely and add a guided day or a welcome on arrival. The website describes flexible visits built around each person’s pace and interests.

The site covers destinations such as Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka, and the Japanese Alps, along with articles about neighborhoods, culture, and everyday travel decisions. The blog discusses routes beyond standard itineraries, food for travelers with allergies or vegetarian diets, transportation, and points to check before visiting an onsen. These resources give travelers more context for their own planning.

The e-books serve different stages of trip preparation: a general guide to the Japanese archipelago and a separate Hokkaido guide with itinerary ideas, cities, nature, and seasonal advice. A bundle with both is also available. Topics listed include transportation, payments, SIM and eSIM service, hot springs, and food; each publication is sold as a PDF.

The first step is a free 30-minute discovery call to discuss expectations, budget, and travel style. Ohayo then sends a proposal based on the chosen service and dates; if the traveler proceeds, a longer conversation sets the route and priorities before the itinerary is created. The website lists an email and phone contact but no walk-in address or fixed business hours.
