About Sapporo Beer Garden
The Beer Garden’s brick halls and dining rooms give a meal a visible link to Sapporo’s brewing history. Its signature is jingisukan: lamb and vegetables cooked by diners on a domed grill. It is not one restaurant, however, and not every venue is a buffet. The complex includes several spaces and service styles, including a more refined dining room.
The official directory separates the restaurants and their offers. Some plans include unlimited meat or food-and-drink packages for a set period; à la carte dishes are also available. Check the exact restaurant, cuts, sides, time limit and drink terms before booking. The complex is about a ten-minute walk from Higashi-kuyakusho-mae Station, and official bus services stop by the grounds.
Customer comments praise the historic atmosphere, hands-on grilling and beer selection, though opinions differ about the quality of some meats and restrictions on set plans. If you want a Hokkaido dining experience rather than a quick meal, compare menus and book ahead for weekends. The nearby museum is not required for restaurant admission.
