Violino d'Oro

Family-run boutique hotel next to Piazza San Marco

Violino d'Oro is a family-run boutique hotel located in Venice, just steps from Piazza San Marco. Its presentation describes it as an elegant and eclectic property, comparable to the home of a Venetian art collector with a passion for antique markets and the Biennale. The property houses an art collection and presents itself under the motto "This Home is Made in Italy".

The hotel is part of Collezione Em, a group that brings together properties such as Grand Hotel Minerva (Florence), Villa Roma Imperiale (Forte dei Marmi), Pensione America (Forte dei Marmi), Hotel Brunelleschi (Florence) and Bagno Assunta (Forte dei Marmi).

Rooms, suites and spaces

The offering is organised into rooms and suites, with artisan furniture and decor. The property also has dining spaces and a gallery, and its website includes sections dedicated to experiences, press and contacts.

Il Piccolo restaurant

Il Piccolo restaurant has just nine tables and upholds the hotel's local-sourcing ethos, with dishes featuring vegetables grown on the nearby island of Sant'Erasmo and fish from the Venetian Lagoon.

Craftsmanship and collaborations

The website devotes a section to the artisans linked to the project and another to the illustrations by Isabella Cotier. The site design is attributed to Carlotta Manzo and its development to dgNet.

Representation and press

The hotel has representation in the United States through Wanderluxe Destinations and press offices in the United States (Imagine PR) and Italy (Errani Studio).

Opening and reservations

The site indicated an opening in autumn 2023 and accepted reservations for stays from 1 October 2023, with requests directed to booking@violinodoro.com.
