La Pratolina

A Via degli Scipioni pizzeria specializing in pinsa, from classics and vegetables to truffle and cured-meat combinations.

About La Pratolina

La Pratolina occupies Via degli Scipioni 248/250 in northern Prati. Pinsa is its specialty: a more informal dinner than a trattoria meal, built around flatbreads with classic toppings or less expected combinations. The Infatuation's review refers specifically to this location and describes a shaded patio; it should not be confused with a similarly named venue on Via Rialto.

On the Scipioni digital menu, Margherita comes with tomato, mozzarella and basil. The namesake pinsa combines mozzarella, truffle cream, mushrooms, caciocavallo and speck; Ortolana brings together roasted aubergine, courgette and pepper. This range moves from simple flavors to a richer dinner without changing restaurant. Starters and drinks are also available but are not automatically included in a pinsa's price.

The menu viewed on September 23 listed EUR 7 for Margherita and EUR 11 for the Pratolina; those are prices for individual dishes, not a complete dinner. Maps reports EUR 20–30 spending per person from 294 customers. The gap between a dish price and the bill is more useful than calling the entire experience cheap: drinks, a starter or dessert change the total.
