Rathwood

Rathwood brings a home-and-garden store together with family day-out options in Tullow, County Carlow. Outdoor furniture, household furnishings, a restaurant, and a deer park share the Rathwood Home & Garden World name. The business is part of the Evergreen family and combines shopping with opportunities for a meal or a walk around the grounds.

The garden accounts for a substantial part of the catalog. Two- and four-seat sets, corner seating, sofas, benches, hanging chairs, and loungers are offered alongside umbrellas, covers, and storage boxes. The materials and formats accommodate small conversation areas or larger tables. Sheds, greenhouses, polytunnels, pergolas, and gazebos add ways to organize outdoor space beyond choosing a chair.

Inside the home, the selection covers bedrooms, living rooms, dining areas, and workspaces. Storage beds, bunk beds, mattresses, nightstands, dressers, sofa beds, sideboards, desks, and office chairs have dedicated sections. The children’s range adds indoor and outdoor furniture and toys, from soft blocks to bikes, ride-on vehicles, swings, and play kitchens. The online store allows customers to track orders and consult delivery terms.

The Merry Tree Restaurant adds a dining stop within the complex. Its cooking is presented through seasonal dishes and service intended for family lunches and weekend gatherings. Afternoon tea combines freshly baked treats, small sandwiches, and sweets, with an option including prosecco. The restaurant welcomes walk-ins as well as tables booked in advance.

The deer park offers a different outdoor activity. Visits are free and do not require reservations; animal feed is sold separately at reception. That arrangement distinguishes a simple stop during a visit from other activities on the site with their own booking systems. Woodland walks are also among Rathwood’s advertised options.

The Ark Playcentre has specific bookings and Wednesday Toddler Time sessions. The Woodshed Cafe and The Hair & Beauty Boutique are other offerings on the site, while Santa Train 2026 anchors the Christmas programming. Each activity has its own arrangements, rather than presenting deer-park access as admission to every play facility or event.

The combination suits visits with different interests: browsing furniture and accessories, stopping for a meal, or devoting part of the day to a children’s activity. Rathwood retains its character as a home-and-garden center, while the restaurant and walking areas broaden the reasons for visiting Tullow. Retail and leisure share one setting, with distinct services that help organize a visit.
