Custom case design

The company offers a design tool that lets you create unique cases. Users can personalise them with images, text, logos and colours, starting from family photos, pet pictures, landscapes, quotes or memes. According to the store's information, the printing system used reproduces designs with vibrant colours and sharp resolution.

Types of cases and materials

Caseface's catalogue is structured into different categories according to material and level of protection. TPU or silicone cases are the best-selling according to the store itself; they are made from a special plastic that makes them flexible, shock-resistant, scratch-resistant, repellent to dirt and debris, and affordable. Polycarbonate (PC) cases are made from hardened plastic and offer less protection than TPU cases, but they are thinner, lighter and more stylish.

The store also describes other categories of cases according to their use. Rugged cases provide the maximum possible protection, although they are bulky and heavy, and may require a belt clip or holster to carry them. Tough cases combine a hard polycarbonate outer layer with a softer inner layer, such as silicone, to absorb impacts; they are usually highly customisable and some have military-grade drop-test certification. Slim or basic cases prioritise the phone's design and protect against scratches, with translucent models made from TPU. Folio or wallet cases offer all-around protection and are suitable for carrying the phone in a bag, although their level of drop protection varies depending on whether or not they include an inner shell.

Choosing the right case

The store itself sets out a series of criteria for choosing a case: the level of protection needed depending on how often the phone is dropped, how it is used (basic functions, watching films, gaming or chatting) and the additional features that make those tasks easier, such as a stand for watching videos without holding the phone or special grips that reduce the risk of dropping it. Caseface states that it has a wide range of cases for every need and budget, with models that seek a balance between style and protection.
