Kenneally Opticians & Audiologist

Family opticians and audiology in County Cork

Kenneally Opticians & Audiologist is an Irish family-run company dedicated to vision and hearing care, established in 2003. It operates from two locations in the province of Munster: one in Skibbereen and one in Bantry, both in County Cork. The firm presents itself as a family-run business with personalised care for its patients.

Optometry: eye tests and correction

The company's optometry area covers the usual eye care services. According to the firm's own information, this division includes eye tests, supply of glasses, contact lens fitting and general monitoring of eye health. The company states that it works with technologies from international manufacturers and has qualified staff for these services.

Audiology: diagnosis and hearing solutions

The audiology division focuses on hearing care. The services the company lists in this area include hearing tests, hearing loss assessment and hearing aid fitting. This dual specialisation in vision and hearing allows the firm to address both sensory needs in the same clinical setting.

Two locations in West Cork

The business is spread across two towns in County Cork. The Skibbereen location is at Off Townshend St., next to the Field's Car Park. The Bantry location is at Unit 2, The Quay. Both addresses are confirmed in the company's material, which also provides a different phone number for each town.

Focus on patients and technology

The company describes its care model as patient-centred, with the stated aim of exceeding the expectations of those who visit its practices. To this end, it refers to the experience of its team, the qualifications of its staff and the incorporation of equipment from leading manufacturers. The firm stresses that both regular patients and first-time visitors receive the same level of care, and it places eye and hearing care as the main priority of its activity.
