About An Post
An Post: postal and financial services in Ireland
An Post is Ireland's postal operator. Its activity combines the management of shipments and deliveries with an offering of financial products and public administration services. The company operates through a network of post offices and digital channels, and serves both individuals and businesses.
Shipping, tracking and delivery management
The company allows you to calculate postage, buy stamps and shipping labels, and track shipments using a tracking number. Customers can manage their deliveries from the An Post app, which also facilitates the payment of customs charges and the purchase of digital stamps. For shipments outside the European Union, it is mandatory to complete a customs declaration in English, either online with Click & Post or at any post office.
An Post offers services such as mail redirection, the possibility of pausing delivery (MailMinder), redelivery of shipments and management of newspaper deliveries. It also has parcel lockers and virtual addresses in the United Kingdom and the United States through AddressPal.
Returns of online purchases
The returns service allows you to send items to hundreds of retailers. The customer can choose between dropping the package off at their local post office or requesting a home collection. The process does not require printing labels.
An Post Money: financial products
Under the An Post Money brand, the company markets a current account, an account for children aged 7 to 15 (Money Mate), an account for young people aged 16 to 22 and a joint account. It also offers credit cards, with a 0% interest promotion on balance transfers for 12 months, and personal loans for home improvements, car purchase, refinancing, weddings, green loans and electric vehicles. The company acts as a credit intermediary for Bankinter S.A., which provides the loan and card services. An Post is authorised by the Minister for Finance to provide payment services and regulated by the Central Bank of Ireland.
The financial offering is completed with foreign exchange (cash and card), money transfers, bill payment, Western Union and the Money Manager service. One4all gift cards and the TFI Leap card are also marketed.

At post offices, government services such as the dog licence, TV licence, Garda fines, property tax, social welfare, business licences and the Irish passport can be processed.
