Mastercard gift cards for businesses

AllGo Mastercard Gift Card is a prepaid gift card product aimed exclusively at businesses. The company issues Mastercard cards that can be used at any establishment that accepts this payment network, both in physical stores and for online purchases and abroad. According to the company's own information, the card is accepted at around 50 million establishments worldwide.

The product is available in two formats: a physical card and a digital card called Digital+. Both formats share the same acceptance network and are subject to the Irish Small Benefit Scheme regulations, which allow tax-free benefits of up to €1,500.

The physical card is delivered in a DL envelope with the employee's name visible in the envelope window and the card value printed on the inner carrier. Distribution can be done in bulk by courier to the company's premises, individually to each beneficiary's home address, or by individual order through the order portal. Cards can be sent to Ireland, the UK, and most EU countries.

The Digital+ card is distributed by email directly to each beneficiary and can be added to mobile wallets. Recipients activate it by downloading the Get My eCard app from Google Play or the App Store and adding it to Google Pay or Apple Pay. Digital delivery is also available for Ireland, the UK, and most EU countries.

Terms of use and features

Both formats allow purchases in physical stores, online, and abroad. In-store, the physical card is used via magnetic stripe and signature, while Digital+ uses contactless payment through Google Pay or Apple Pay. For online purchases, both require 3D Secure registration. Cards are not reloadable and are valid for five years.

Balance and transaction inquiries are made through the allgo.getmybalance.com portal for the physical card, and via the Get My eCard app for Digital+.

Delivery times and orders

Delivery times vary depending on the format and type of order. Under normal conditions, physical cards require six business days for standard orders and four for express orders; Digital+ requires four business days for standard and three for express. During the period known as Red Zone, between December 10 and 24, lead times are extended: eight business days for standard physical cards, six for express physical, five for standard Digital+, and four for express Digital+.

The company warns that lead times are not guaranteed and may be affected by delays in client security verification, order changes, delays in invoice payment, or payments made to an incorrect IBAN.

Small Benefit Scheme and regulatory compliance

The cards are certified by the Irish Revenue for the Small Benefit Scheme, which allows tax-free benefits of up to €1,500. The company operates under the regulation of the Central Bank of Ireland and funds are held in a segregated Irish bank account. The company presents itself as a Guaranteed Irish company.

Amplify: recognition platform

AllGo complements the cards with Amplify, a recognition platform designed to manage employee rewards. The tool allows organizations to take advantage of the Small Benefit Scheme, incorporate corporate values, and reduce the administrative burden on human resources. It includes real-time reporting of exempt benefits and regulatory compliance integrated with Irish revenue regulations.

Clients and reach

According to the company's own data, AllGo provides Mastercard gift cards to 10,000 businesses of various sizes each year. Among the clients mentioned on the site are Aer Lingus, Savills, Portwest, Bulmers Ireland, Conack Construction, and Calor. The company highlights that the cards do not involve any commission for merchants that accept them.
