Beds.ie

Beds.ie, Irish bed and mattress specialist

Beds.ie is an Irish retailer dedicated to the sale of beds, mattresses and bedroom furniture. The company presents itself as a specialist in the sector with over 35 years in business and a catalogue of more than 20,000 products. Its offering combines well-known sleep market brands with its own value-priced options, and is distributed mainly through its online store with delivery across Ireland.

Beds and bases catalogue

The bed range is the core of the business. It includes divan beds in multiple configurations — with two or four drawers, front or side drawer, no drawers, base on legs and low base —, divan bases sold separately, ottoman beds with front, side or jumbo opening, and guest beds in folding, inflatable, day bed and hideaway formats. It also sells adjustable beds, TV beds and a specific line of 6ft super king divan beds with a zip & link system.

The range is organised by sizes from 2ft6 small single to 6ft super king, including single, small double, double and king size, as well as European sizes.

Mattresses and sleep

The mattress section covers sizes from 2ft6 small single to 7ft, and includes specific categories for bunk beds, adjustable mattresses, contract mattresses, European single and junior and cot models. Featured products on the site include the Annie Ellen in 4ft6 and 5ft, with medium-firm pocket springs and 32 cm thickness, and the Penny Pocket in the same sizes, with firm pocket springs and 30 cm. Also featured is the SleepSoul Balance, with medium-firm memory foam and 22 cm, with two free pillows valued at 60 euros, and the Honey B 2000 in 3ft, with medium-firm foam and 24 cm.

Furniture, bedding and children's line

Beyond sleep, the store sells bedroom furniture — bedside tables, chests of drawers, dressing tables and stools, mirrors, occasional chairs, wardrobes and sliding wardrobes, and storage boxes — and furniture for other rooms: dining room, hallway, living room, office and sofas and chairs, including sofa beds and futons. The bedding section brings together duvets in different togs, mattress protectors and toppers, and latex, memory foam and synthetic fibre pillows.

The children's line includes two and three sleeper bunk beds, high sleepers and mid sleepers, beds and accessories, mattresses and nursery furniture with cots and cot mattresses. There is also a contract section aimed at professional use, with beds, bunk beds, folding beds, mattresses and other contract furniture.

Brands and combined packs

Among the brands it distributes are Apollo, Healthbeds, Silentnight, Sleepsoul, King Koil, Respa, Shire Bed Company, Briody, Natural Sleep, Dreamworld, Flintshire, Limelight and Support. The store groups part of its offering into preconfigured mattress and bed packs, with advertised savings of up to 300 euros on combined purchases, and maintains clearance and featured deals sections.
