About Kingsize.ie
Kingsize.ie, fashion for big and tall men in Ireland
Kingsize.ie is an Irish store dedicated to clothing for men of large and tall build. The project was launched in 2010 by Justin Dixon, a native of County Roscommon, in response to demand from bigger men looking for large-size clothing with a fashion element. The company combines online sales with two physical stores, one in Galway and one in Dublin.
Range: casual wear, formal wear and footwear
The catalogue is organised into several areas. The casual fashion section includes sweatshirts and hoodies, knitwear, jackets, jeans, trousers, jogging bottoms, casual shirts, polo shirts, T-shirts and shorts. The formal section brings together suits, shirts and dress trousers, sports jackets, waistcoats and extra-long ties. Accessories cover underwear, nightwear, belts and braces, socks, hats and gloves. Footwear is divided into boots, outdoor shoes, casual, formal and sports shoes, work footwear and wide-fitting styles.
The range is also ordered by waist and leg size, by body size (from 2XL to 8XL) and by specific shoe sizes, which go up to 17. The formal line includes sizes 50R to 58R and 50L to 58L, and the tall section includes shirts, trousers, jeans, leisurewear, jackets and tailoring, with leg lengths of 36 and 38 inches and shirt collars from 16.5 to 19 inches.

The store works with a wide repertoire of fashion and footwear brands. Clothing labels include Jack & Jones, Tommy Hilfiger, Columbia, Club of Comfort, Wrangler, Raging Bull, Mc Ivor Shirts, Eden Park, Skopes, Eterna, Roy Robson, Hunter & Oak, Ceceba, Calvin Klein, Brax, Duke, Redpoint, A Fish Named Fred, Anatomic & Co, Baileys, Gant, Hajo, Kam, Gola, Lacoste, Lebrett, Lyle & Scott, Mustang, Petrol, Pre End, S4 Jackets, Saucony, Vans, Weird Fish, Weis Bros and White Label. The site accepts payments with Apple Pay, Bancontact, BLIK, iDEAL, Wero, Klarna, Maestro, Mastercard, MobilePay, PayPal and Visa.
The Galway store and the origin of the online business
The Galway establishment opened in 2011 and presents itself as Ireland's first big and tall store for men. It began by occupying half of its current floor space and, after several renovations, is described as the largest store in this segment in the west of the country. The clothing and footwear brands mentioned are gathered there and, according to the company, the online business of kingsize.ie is also managed and dispatched from that location. The store serves customers from Galway and neighbouring counties, and the team is led by Shane.
Two points of sale in Ireland
In addition to Galway, the company has a store in Dublin. Both are linked from the website as physical points of sale, alongside the online store that centralises the full catalogue.
