The company presents itself as a manufacturer with over 25 years of combined experience and offers a 10-year guarantee on its uPVC doors.

uPVC and aluminium windows

The window range includes uPVC models in bay, casement, tilt and turn and vertical sliding styles. In aluminium, the same types are offered: bay, casement, tilt and turn and vertical sliding. It also sells Aluclad windows, which combine aluminium and wood. The company highlights that its A+ energy-rated windows exceed the efficiency standards set by the National Standards Authority of Ireland (NSAI) Window Energy Performance (WEP) initiative. According to its description, these products help retain heat, resist condensation and allow natural light in, helping to reduce heating costs.

Doors for every entrance

The doors section includes uPVC and aluminium solutions. In uPVC, bifold, patio and front doors are offered. In aluminium, the range covers bifold, patio, front and garage doors. In addition, the company works with composite doors, including those from the Apeer brand, and with Aluclad doors. The firm states that its uPVC doors come with a 10-year guarantee and are designed to withstand Irish weather conditions.

Security and energy efficiency

Among the aspects the company highlights are security and insulation. In terms of security, it mentions features such as multi-point locking mechanisms. On energy efficiency, it emphasises that its double and triple glazed windows keep the home bright and secure while reducing heating costs. The company states that approximately 20% of the heat escaping from a home is lost through the windows, and that its A+ models help mitigate that loss.

Work process and coverage

Horizon Windows and Doors handles projects in north and south Dublin, as well as in counties Meath, Kildare, Wicklow and Wexford. The company offers free quotes and asks interested parties for details such as the project location and the product of interest. Its website states that the team carries out home visits to advise on the different options and that installation is carried out by the company itself. The firm also mentions that its work is characterised by a neat and tidy finish.
