Astropark
Five- and seven-a-side soccer, kids’ camps, parties, and group activities at two Dublin locations.
About Astropark
For nearly three decades, Astropark has turned five-a-side soccer into an activity for more than just groups of friends. Its first complex opened in Tallaght in 1995; Coolock followed in 2004, expanding the offering to celebrations, group outings, and family activities. Today, the brand brings together two artificial-turf venues in different parts of Dublin.
Pitch rental remains the core offering: the venues have fields for five- and seven-a-side games, club training, and leagues, with reservations made by location and time slot. The facilities are promoted for all-weather use and have lighting for evening play. People without a full team can ask about Subs Bench, an initiative that connects players with groups looking to fill a spot.
For children’s and teens’ birthdays, Astropark organizes formats that combine active play with a celebration. Options include bubble soccer, Nerf AstroWars battles, traditional sports, and activity or craft sessions. The company describes these events as supervised by its staff; the right choice depends on participants’ ages, group size, and the type of party being planned.
During school breaks, Easter, summer, and Halloween camps bring that variety into multi-day programs. Soccer shares the schedule with team games, challenges, and activities such as bubble soccer or Nerf. A day at Astropark can alternate between staff-led movement and free play, an approach designed to get children involved together rather than simply occupy a field.
School tours are tailored to two different groups: primary students and Transition Year students. Published programs combine staff-led activities, a lunch break, and free time on the pitches; duration, minimum group size, and included activities depend on the format and season. Youth clubs and sports teams can also arrange group days featuring soccer, dodgeball, team games, and challenges.
Companies and other groups can book team-building days, team celebrations, and activities for stag or hen parties. Coolock adds a sports bar with a balcony, giving visitors a place to stay after a game; Tallaght serves as another base for pitches, parties, and group programs. Both locations offer on-site parking, according to the business.
Coolock is at Oscar Traynor Road, Coolock, D17 Y998; Tallaght is on Greenhills Road, Tallaght, D24 KPN8. The second address helps distinguish bookings in south Dublin from those in the north. Families, teachers, and team organizers should choose a venue first and then check the activity schedule: leagues, camps, and school tours do not necessarily follow the same hours as general contact service.
