About The Menopause Hub

The Menopause Hub: menopause clinic and academy in Ireland

The Menopause Hub presents itself as a centre of excellence dedicated to menopause that combines clinical care, education and training. Founded in December 2018 by Loretta Dignam, the project was born with the stated aim of making menopause cease to be a taboo and enabling women to maintain their health and vitality during this stage. The founder herself, who describes herself as an activist and advocate for the cause, is listed in the Forbes Top 50 Over 50 Global 2025 and was recognised as Tatler Woman of the Year Health 2025.

Clinical care for all phases

The clinic offers care for women going through all phases of menopause: premature, surgical, perimenopause and postmenopause. The team is multidisciplinary and includes doctors, a psychologist, a dietitian-nutritionist and a women's health physiotherapist. The website also mentions the possibility of requesting an emergency supply of medication to cover the interval until the next appointment, provided the clinical team considers it clinically appropriate.

Two clinics in Dublin and one in Cork

In-person activity is divided between two clinics in Dublin —one in Mount Merrion, in the south of the city, and another in Santry, in the north— and a third in Ballincollig, Cork. The company also offers online consultations.

Menopause Hub Academy: training for companies

The academy, founded in 2024, helps organisations and workplaces become 'menopause friendly' environments through awareness and training programmes. These programmes and workshops are delivered in e-learning or live format and are CPD accredited. In collaboration with Great Place to Work, the company launched the Menopause Friendly Workplace Awards to recognise employers that offer menopause support programmes.

Resources and outreach

The site makes available to the public a downloadable symptom checker, as it points out that there are more than forty recognised symptoms associated with menopause. It also maintains a blog and a news section with content on hormone replacement therapy (HRT), long-term health, nutrition, workplace health and awareness campaigns. Among the topics covered are the Irish government plan on menopause and menstruation at work, the campaign for free HRT and annual surveys on women's needs.
