Stillorgan Decor

Stillorgan Decor, an Irish leader in paint and home decor

Stillorgan Decor is an Irish family business dedicated to the sale of home decor and home improvement products. With more than four decades of activity, the company presents itself as a leading destination in Ireland for paint and decorative equipment, and has expanded its catalogue and geographic reach over time.

Paint and surface treatment

The paint catalogue is organised by interior and exterior categories. Indoors, it includes paint for walls and ceilings, floors, wood and metal, furniture paint, anti-mould and insulation paint, and VOC-free options. Outdoors, it covers paint, stain and protection for wood, decking and exterior floors, metal, masonry walls and log cabins. The store also offers interior, exterior, kitchen and front door painting kits, as well as brushes, rollers, frames, trays, workwear and other accessories. The range is completed by masking, surface protection, cleaning and preparation products, sanding —with sanding machines, extractors and accessories—, spray paint, filler and silicone, primers and additives, and specialist paints and coatings.

The colour selection can be explored by tone —off-whites and creams, neutrals, greys and blacks, greens, blues, browns, pinks and reds, purples, yellows and oranges— and by colour collections. Among the paint brands it distributes are Colourtrend, Dulux, Farrow & Ball, Fleetwood, Mirka and Tikkurila.

Wallpaper, lighting and textiles

Wallpaper is classified by style —floral and nature, geometric, damask, kids, mural and panorama, borders and effects— and by brand, with associated accessories. The lighting section includes ceiling lights, bar pendants, chandeliers, flush lights, island lights, modern, traditional, ultra-modern and remote-controlled models, as well as bathroom lights and mirrors, floor lamps, outdoor lights, wall lights and table lamps, lamp shades and bulbs. It also offers bespoke lighting and the Laura Ashley collection.

In textiles and furniture, it offers ready-made curtains, rugs, cushions, bedding and tiebacks, along with custom products such as curtains, blinds, headboards and ottomans. The accessories section includes fabrics, furniture, mirrors and photo frames.

Advice and services

The company offers an interior design advice service and colour consultations, as well as the possibility of requesting a quote. The team, with experience in the sector, advises on the choice of tools, brands and products according to the project and budget. The store offers free in-store collection and delivers throughout Ireland and to several European Union countries.

Featured collections

Among the proposals the store presents is the Fleetwood Prestige paint collection, developed with designer Róisín Lafferty, which the company describes as its most elaborate range to date, made in Ireland and designed to offer colour depth, durability and ease of use. The arrival of the Laura Ashley 2026 lighting collection is also announced, with delivery to Ireland, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Spain, Portugal, Austria and Belgium. The catalogue also includes references from Farrow & Ball and Fired Earth, among others.

History and scope of activity

Founded in 1978, Stillorgan Decor defines itself as a 100% Irish family business. It started with paint and painting accessories and gradually expanded its offer with lighting, wallpaper, curtains and blinds, while extending its service radius beyond Dublin to cover all of Ireland and, later, several EU countries. The company serves both new-build projects and renovations and one-off painting jobs.
