Origins and evolution since 2008

The company began operating in 2008 as a small manufacturer of domestic copper hot water cylinders in Ireland, rapidly increasing its market share by producing various copper cylinder variants and offering specials with next-day delivery. In 2009 it moved production to a larger facility in Dublin, where it introduced the Cyclone unvented cylinder. A year later it added solar thermal energy solutions for water heating.

In 2011 it established a manufacturing and distribution centre in Liverpool to serve the UK market. In 2012 it entered the air source heat pump segment, with partnerships with manufacturers such as Samsung. In 2013 it launched the Smart Plumb pre-plumbed system and the InvaHeat underfloor heating brand. In 2014 it expanded its catalogue with the Riva aluminium radiator range, designed to work with low-temperature heat pumps. In 2017 it introduced the InvaVent ventilation range, with mechanical extract ventilation (MEV) and mechanical ventilation with heat recovery (MVHR) solutions.

In 2018 it acquired RM Cylinders Ltd and opened a technical sales and design facility in Galway. In 2019 and 2022 it moved its Bromborough and Wirral facilities, respectively, to the RM factory in Castleford. In 2024 it invested in robotic welding lines and reconfigured its production plant, as well as introducing the Modulair EAHP heat pump.
